Ten Years of GALA in Tokyo

From Peckham to Shibuya! On Friday 14 March, we journey to Tokyo for a very special night at WOMB with our friends at Rainbow Disco Club.

Any GALA event on Japanese soil wouldn’t feel complete without the presence of cult producer Soichi Terada. We’ve been in love with Soichi’s timeless productions and 90s video-game soundtracks for as long as we can remember – and in 2022 we had the honour of hosting one of his charismatic live performances in London. Soichi’s infectious energy and radiant house tracks lighting up the crowd remains one of our favourite GALA memories ever.

Masterful DJ, acclaimed producer, Hivern Discs label boss, and the man behind one of GALA ‘24’s standout sets (check out our Soundcloud) John Talabot will also join us at WOMB. Owning one of the broadest and far reaching record bags of any, 14 March offers a rare chance to see a peerless selector journey purely through his kaleidoscopic house style.

Respected Tokyo DJ and RDC resident Kikiorix plus more will complete this celebration of timeless dance music. Tokyo’s cultural influence on GALA across music, art and design is undeniable and we couldn’t be prouder to bring the GALA spirit to this iconic city.
