Everything you need to know about GALA 2021. If you have any other questions please feel free to contact our team.
Friday 30th July - Sunday 1st August 2021 in Peckham Rye Park, London
Despite it not being a legal requirement to have a test, we know this is the safest way forward and doing so will help ensure our scene can stay open. Everyone attending GALA will therefore be required to show either:
- Proof of double vaccination (2 weeks+ after the second jab)
- Proof of a negative lateral flow test result (within 36 hours of entry).
- Proof of natural immunity if you’ve recovered from Covid-19 in the last six months.
If you have been double vaccinated you will need to present proof on the NHS Covid Pass. If you require a test, then a text message or email from the NHS confirming your negative result will need to be shown upon entry. For natural immunity we will accept proof of a positive test in the last six months.
Free NHS lateral flow tests can be ordered from here. Alternatively, you may be able to collect tests to then do at home. Upon completing your test, you must upload the result to the NHS Gov portal. It’s a relatively simple process and will mean you can dance freely inside knowing everyone around you is also Covid-free.
There are no testing facilities at the gates, so you must do the lateral flow test pre-event. If you do not have a Covid pass or test result to show on site, you will be directed to the nearest test centre or pharmacy to collect one and carry out your test. Your result must then be registered with the NHS government website.
Whilst you are at the event, if you become symptomatic, you should avoid contact with others, speak to medical personnel onsite for further assessment. You may be given a face covering and asked to go home and follow guidelines regarding isolating and obtaining a PCR test.
If you are experiencing any Covid symptoms, test positive for Covid 19 or you have been advised to self-isolate by NHS Test & Trace, please do not attend the festival.
Multiple sanitising stations will be present at the festival. If it makes you feel more comfortable to wear a mask then please do so, however, this is not a requirement.
Important Ticket Information (Saturday & Sunday)
GALA 2021 is sold out.
Tickets will only be accepted through our official ticketing partner Resident Advisor or the Resident Advisor Resale (when someone hands a ticket back and it then resurfaces on the event page).
We use RA’s activated tickets function which means OR codes are not generated until 48 hours prior to the event. If you have already bought a ticket from a seller or secondary resale site there is a strong chance it could be fake.
If you can no longer make it and have a ticket to sell, please use RA’s Resale service. To add your ticket to the resale queue, just go to ‘My Tickets,’ click ‘View Tickets’ on the order that you want to resell. Go to ‘Resale,’ enter your RA password and click on ‘Resell Ticket.’ This will add your ticket to the queue and it will go on sale once the event’s normal tickets sell out. If your ticket is sold, you will be sent a confirmation email and your money will be refunded.
RA’s Resale service protects against ticket fraud and means you are guaranteed to receive your money back at face value. All tickets to GALA 2021 must be purchased through Resident Advisor to ensure entry into the festival. In the fight against ticket fraud and inflated prices we will reject any tickets bought from third party resellers such as Viagogo and TicketSwap.
*Last entry for all tickets other than those specified as ‘Pre-2pm’ is 5pm.
*Please ensure you are only purchasing for you and your friends. Guests’ ID’s must match the name on your ticket or enter with the person who purchased the ticket otherwise you will not gain entry.
Update 30.04: Registration for Residents tickets is now full and we therefore cannot accept any more requests for tickets.
In the spirit of community, we have set aside 25% of tickets for local residents at a discounted price of £20 + booking fee. If you live locally to the park and would like to join us, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with proof of address and if eligible you’ll be sent a link to purchase.
We’ve listened to your feedback and to prevent another heavily oversubscribed registration, we will instead be putting the remaining tickets online to everyone at 10am on Friday 30th April. For this new GALA live concept ticket tiers are priced as follows:
Residents – £20 + booking fee
1st release – £35 + booking fee
General release – £45 + booking fee
Final release – £55 + booking fee
Please note – last entry for all ticket holders is 18:00.
GALA is an 18+ only licensed event – no children are allowed on site. We will be operating a Challenge 25 policy at the gates so please ensure you bring ID.
